About the property
The Old Acre is a private villa in Wayanad — two acres of instagrammable locations, rubber estates on one side, mountains on the other.
Wide rooms with cathedral ceilings and cement tile floors. A long verandah with carved wooden panels and columns — where conversations stretch past dinner and mornings begin without urgency. And a large swimming pool, set at the edge of the property where the land drops away into unbroken forest. There is nothing beyond it but treeline, valley, and sky.
The architecture speaks Kerala – terracotta roof tiles, teak joinery, deep overhanging eaves – built with intention and finished with care. Four bedrooms sleeping up to 8 guests, each opening onto the verandah. Meals served fresh in the dining room. A caretaker present throughout your stay.
